From the world of music & art—to the realm of ideas, Goldee B. Greene is a lifelong traveler… 

GOLDEE B. GREENE is an internationally acclaimed, award-winning recording artist and singing actress,  working across the US, Europe, Africa, Canada, and the Caribbean. "Goldee Greene is captivating!" San Francisco Examiner.  She has been trained at the Juilliard School in opera and diction. Goldee's signature sound spans opera, jazz, Broadway, gospel, new music, and rock. 

She has performed with Billy Crystal, Pete Seeger, reggae sensation Bankie Banx, and the Urban Bush Women dance-theatre company. For her work in the arts, she was recently awarded a Certificate of Recognition from Congress. She has also received a Mayoral Certificate of Recognition, from the City of Beacon, New York, and proclaimed as a “Person of the Year,” by the Southern Dutchess NAACP Chapter. 

Goldee is lead singer/keyboardist , arranger and creative director of GG & The Shades, a popular “hipster groove” party band, playing throughout the Hudson Valley Region, and New York City.

She is an off-Broadway produced playwright. Her original musical hit SPRANG THANG was mounted by Amas Musical Theatre Company, in New York City. Another musical, VIVA THE DIVAS, premiered in Portland, Maine, produced by the historic Abyssinian Meeting House. Goldee is co-author of Plane Fun: Painting the Skies with Alexander Calder. This recounts the “Flying Colors” collaboration between the celebrated artist, and Braniff Airlines, launched in the mid-nineteen-seventies.

As a Young Adult novelist, she is the author of the “Taylor Girls Black Teen Mystery & Dog Story” series. The first book is THE SECRET OF THE MISSING CAPRICORN, which is set on Long Island, in 1966.

An avid educator, Goldee is dedicated to guiding emerging artists towards making dreams come true. Her music school, Melody Music Studio, serves students from beginner to professional. ###
